Shun Miyazawa is the Product Manager at Yamaha Europe and the man behind ‘Yamaha Yard Built’ motorcycles. Shun wears the Pinion X Iron Heart Watch 01 – And last year we were delighted to produce a very limited run of these watches with a special ‘Yard Built’ engraved case back.

We’re working on our very own customized Yamaha XSR700 Pinion motorcycle and will be sharing images in the next couple of weeks.

Iron Heart watch wallet

For our collaboration with exclusive Japanese denim manufacturer, IRON HEART we’ve made a beautifully constructed watch wallet that will be used to house the Special Edition timepiece, IHWA-01 (IRON HEART WATCH 01).

The outer material is made from Iron Heart’s ‘Cotton duck’ which is a signature heavy weight fabric, manufactured in Japan and is often used for their jackets and trousers.

Central to the wallet is an Iron Heart leather patch, which is used on their selvedge jeans and inscribed with the watch model number IHWA-01.

This wallet, along with the watch assembly and leather strap are built in the UK and will be shipping to customers this month.

Iron Heart Watch – Hot!

Here is the Pinion Iron Heat Watch 01. We’ve been working with exclusive Japanese denim manufacturer, IRON HEART to produce their first ever watch, which is based on on the Pinion Axis and features the IH logo on the front plus engraved case back (Pictured).

Iron Heart will be at renowned fashion trade show BREAD and BUTTER next week and we look forward to joining them in Berlin for the week.

Pinion with an Iron Heart

PINION, is to partner with exclusive Japanese denim manufacturing company, Iron Heart, to produce a range of new timepieces and products.

The first to be released under this new partnership will be the IHWA-01 (Iron Heart Watch 01) a limited edition, stainless steel 42mm Swiss manufactured wristwatch which will feature the IRON HEART logo, plus ‘Pride of Japan’ engraving on the reverse.

The Watch is based on the original Pinion Axis Steel, which was released in 2013 and will be finished, tested and assembled in the UK by Pinion’s experienced watchmakers.

The Watch can be reserved and ordered through Iron Heart and will be ready to ship in Autumn 2014.

Shinichi Haraki established Works Inc (AKA The Works Japan) in 2003. After 20 years of working in the garment industry in Japan, beginning as a pattern maker for Edwin and advancing to designer and producer/director for the company, he decided to create Iron Heart, a heavyweight Japanese clothing brand, aimed initially at the Japanese motorcycling community.
